We’re a big Disney family. We love Disney, have Disney tattoos, go to Disney World as often as we can afford, and incorporate Disney into as much of our holiday decor as much as possible!

I love making little themed treats like this for my kids around each holiday. M&Ms are always a hit with my kids, so Halloween is no exception. You could also hand these out from your house or from your trunk if you’re passing out candy this year!

I’ve made a few of these themed Mickey & Minnie Pops:

  • Valentine’s Day Mickey & Minnie Pops
  • Christmas Mickey & Minnie Pops

Soon I’ll be adding St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and 4th of July too! Use the free printables to make these!

If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.

How do you make these Halloween Mickey & Minnie Pops?

Step 1: Gather your supplies.

You will need:

  • Free Printable Halloween Mickey & Minnie Heads
  • Halloween M&M’s (we used Ghoul’s Mix)
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Clear Fillable Ornaments
  • Thin Halloween Ribbon
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Cardstock
  • Scissors

Step 2: Print out your Mickey & Minnie Heads.

Download the free printable Halloween Mickey & Minnie heads and print them on heavy cardstock paper.

When they print they will look like the above two sheets. So if you need multiples, keep that in mind.

Use sharp scissors to cut out the heads.

Step 3: Attach popsicle sticks to the heads.

Use a hot glue gun to attach the popsicle sticks to the back of the Mickey & Minnie heads.

Step 4: Fill the ornament halves with Halloween M&Ms.

These are the Halloween M&Ms we used. You can use any kind of Halloween M&Ms, or small candies etc and have a similar look.

Fill the clear ornament half about half full of M&Ms. Then put a thin ring of hot glue around the rim of the ornament and QUICKLY press the Mickey or Minnie head with the popsicle stick down on top of it.

Pro Tip: Use the little lip of the ornament that acts as a hanger to put on the tree as a guide to make sure the ornament is centered on the head. I place the little lip facing up if I plan to make it a Minnie head, and facing down if it will be a Mickey head. The bow will cover the little lip.

Step 5: Add a bow to the Halloween Mickey & Minnie pops.

Use the thin Halloween ribbon to tie a small bow. Use hot glue to attach it.

I glued bows to the top of the ornament for Minnie heads, and bows underneath to act as a bow tie for Mickey heads.

When they’re done they will look something like this! They’re not hard to put together, and they turn out so cute! Kids and adults of all ages love these and they’re a hit every time I make them! What will you make yours for?
