If your kids are anything like mine, McDonald’s is HIGH END cuisine! It’s their favorite place, and they love it.
Each week we have one day where they get to have McDonald’s and they call it the McDonald’s Day. It’s ridiculous.
In thinking about Valentine’s Day, I thought of these cute Happy Meal Valentines and just had to make them! They’re the perfect way to gift a McDonald’s gift card and I know my girls are going to be SO excited!
They’re already looking forward to handing out the printable Valentines I made them this year for Valentine parties. My oldest is handing out these Animal Crossing ones, and also the Among Us ones.
My youngest is handing out these Blippi Valentines I made, and might repeat the JoJo Siwa Valentines she handed out last year because she loves them so much!
If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.
How do you make these Happy Meal Valentines?
Step 1: Gather your supplies.
You will need:
- Happy Meal Valentines Printable Sheet
- Cardstock Paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- Box Knife
- McDonald’s Gift Card (you can even get these in the drive thru!)
Step 2: Print and cut out the Happy Meal Valentines.

When you print these out, they will look like this.
They print two Valentines to a sheet, so keep that in mind depending on how many you need to hand out.
Pro Tip: Print these out on cardstock paper so they will be nice and sturdy and will hold the weight of the gift card well. They won’t look nice if you print on regular paper.
Use a pair of sharp scissors and cut the Happy Meal box out.
Step 3: Cut the slit in the box.

Use a box knife and slice along the full length of the white line at the top of the box.
This is where you’re going to slide the gift card in, so be sure to go slow and keep your line straight when you cut.
Step 4: Attach the gift card.

Slide the McDonald’s gift card into the slot you cut.
Use a small piece of tape and tape it to the back of the card to keep it from going anywhere.
This works as a great McDonald’s gift card holder you can print at home!

When they’re finished, they will look like this! They only take a few minutes to put together, and they turn out really cute!
