If you’ve browsed my site at all, you’ll know I’m in LOVE with seasons and holidays. I make a big deal out of every single one for my kids, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
These super cute Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrows only take a few minutes thanks to the free printable I designed and am giving you to make this craft easier. It’s simple, but will make an ordinary Oatmeal Cream Pie so much more fun!
If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.
How to Make an Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrow
Step 1: Gather your supplies.
To make this Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrow craft, you will need the following supplies:
- Free Printable Scarecrow Face Template
- Cardstock
- Black Permanent Marker
- Double Side Adhesive Roll-On
- Scissors
- Oatmeal Cream Pies
Step 2: Cut out and attach the face.
Print out your scarecrow face template onto cardstock paper. If you use regular paper, it’s too thin, and will tear too easily. Keep in mind that the templates print four faces to a sheet of paper. It’s just regular 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock paper.
Cut out the pieces and use the double sided adhesive roller (seriously, these are my new favorite things – they make crafts like this SO SIMPLE) to attach them to the packaging on the Oatmeal Cream Pies.
Step 3: Draw on the eyes and mouth.
Use a black permanent marker to draw a curved smile between the pink cheek circles. Use the marker to also make black dots for eyes. Repeat for any other Oatmeal Cream Pie Scarecrow treats you want to make!
PRO TIP: These were designed to be used with regular, Little Debbie brand Oatmeal Cream Pies. They won’t fit on the jumbo ones, and haven’t been tested on the generic brand, so keep that in mind before you create.
