A PJ Masks birthday party is so much to throw! You can find a lot of ready-made decor and treats, but I love coming up with new ideas I can DIY to save some money.
Making big over the top parties can get expensive fast, so I always try to be creative with my ideas, and design as many printables to use for the party as possible.
If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.
How to throw an AWESOME PJ Masks Birthday Party
I wanted this PJ Masks birthday party to be AWESOME, so I tried to sift through a bunch of ideas and come up with stuff that would be fun for kids of all ages and I’m pretty happy with how this turned out!
I’ll go over all my ideas below with pics, BUT if you want to see the full supply list for what I used for the party on Amazon, you can see that here.
PJ Masks Party Food Ideas
PJ Masks Birthday Cake
My aunt is amazing and does the cake for every party I throw! She always absolutely nails the ideas I send her, and I’m obsessed with how well this turned out!
The cake topper is part of the PJ Masks birthday printable pack. Print it on cardstock paper, cut it out, and then take a couple of toothpicks to the back of it, and press it into the top of the cake!
Cupcakes
For those who didn’t want cake, we did cupcakes. I had cupcakes. You can make yours, but to save mine I grab them in matching colors at Walmart.
The cupcake toppers are also part of the printable party pack. Print them on cardstock paper, cut them out, then tape a toothpick to the back and press them into the cupcakes.
Each sheet of cupcake toppers has 12 toppers on it, so keep that in mind when printing if you need more.
Ring Pops
I found these adorable PJ Masks Ring Pops on Amazon, and they were a HIT! They work great to send home with kids at the end of the party too.
There are four different food cards that go with this party pack you can print as well. Print them on cardstock, cut them out, and bend them in half. They will sit like a little table tent on your table.
They’re blank, so write the name of whatever food you are serving at your party.
PJ Masks Cinnamon Cookies
I found these Cinnamon Cookies on Amazon too. They’re pre-packaged and priced well, and they taste really good! They were an easy snack to add to the party!
Popcorn
We had popcorn, because every kid loves it! I found these cute little popcorn boxes on Amazon and they were perfect!
Cookies
I have an awesome friend locally who makes the most incredible cookies in whatever design I throw at her! She NAILED these PJ Masks cookies, and the party guests loved them!
Water Bottles
I always like to have water bottles at my parties. It’s easy to customize with printable labels I make, and having water available is a great break from the sweets too.
These are super easy. Print them on regular paper, cut them out, remove the water bottle labels, and then tape these on! Easy!
PJ Masks Birthday Decorations
PJ Masks Backdrop
This was such a fun backdrop! It’s cloth, so all I had to do was add some strong velcro to the back and attach it to the wall. It looks just like the city the PJ Masks help to protect!
Centerpieces
These centerpieces are also party of the PJ Masks birthday party printable pack. They print one centerpiece per sheet, so if you need more than one, just print multiples.
Cut along the lines and then slide the two pieces together! So simple and they’re so cute!
PJ Masks Blow-Ups
So this was every kid’s FAVORITE part of the party! They all posed for pics with them and wanted to give them hugs!
I hacked these PJ Masks inflatables to make them work for the party. Each of these was a holiday inflatable that held a pumpkin or Christmas-themed item in their arms.
To fix them for the party, I carefully snipped the threads holding them onto their hands. Then you just have to tuck the decor item into the hole in their belly.
I used velcro I had left from attaching the backdrop to the wall to attach empty gift bags to their hands to make them match the party!
You can easy use these again for the holidays after the party, or even as super cool room decor! They were one of my favorite things about this party set up!
Balloon Display
These are SO easy to make and cheap! They make a huge statement and fill up a lot of blank space, so I include them as often as possible at my parties.
The trick to making these so easy and quick is in two components: Electric Balloon Inflator and Balloon Garland Strips.
All you need to do is blow up balloons (I used these red, green, and blue ones) using the machine (saves you a crazy amount of time, buy one), then just stick the balloons into the strip.
I used white ribbon to wrap around it and hang it above the party table for a pop of color!
PJ Masks Birthday Party Activities
Decorate Your Own Cape
Every superhero needs a good cape! We used foam stickers and paint pens to decorate these capes and the kids LOVED it!
I found the capes with matching masks on Amazon for a good price and it worked perfect for us!
Each kid took their time making their cape perfect. If you use paint, give them a paint shirt to wear, and know that capes will still be wet at the end of the party.
Sticker Scene
These PJ Masks Sticker Scenes were my favorite part! And you will LOVE how easy these are.
I designed the sticker scenes and they’re part of the printable party pack. Print one out on regular paper for each kid at the party. Then give each kid a sheet of stickers from this sticker book.
Kids can then take their time making their own PJ Masks sticker scenes! They’re super easy, and they all were so proud of their little creations.
That’s everything I did for my PJ Masks birthday party! Hope it gave you some good ideas to use at your party!

GENERAL PRINTABLE PARTY PACK TIPS
PRINTING
I get these printed professionally to save on ink and to make sure they’re high quality. I find it cheaper for me to have some place like Staples or the UPS Store print these for me than it is to use my printer’s ink. Maybe I just need a new printer.
Print everything BUT the water bottle labels, and sticker sheets on cardstock. Print the water bottle labels and sticker sheets on regular paper so they’re more pliable.
Check the printable pack before printing so you can make sure you get enough of each item that you need.
I only include a single sheet of water bottle labels (which is 5 labels) so if you’re planning on having 30 bottles of water, make sure you print six of that page so you have enough. Use that same line of thinking with food cards, cupcake toppers etc.
CUTTING
Channel your inner Kindergarten self and do your best cutting along the edges of these. When in doubt, go into the edge of the color to ensure there are no white edges. White edges will make it look sloppy. Use good scissors or you’ll be mad.
SUPPLIES
Outside of the printables, you will need a few other things to make your printables work for your party.
You will also need:
Scissors
Tape
Toothpicks
Ribbon or Twine
