I’m a big fan of making little gifts for every holiday, or little treats to give my kids with their lunch on holidays, but I’m NOT a big fan of things that take a lot of fuss or time.
When I designed these Rainbow Seeds Skittles labels, I made sure that they would fit on just a regular bag of Skittles, so you could just grab them at the store, and not have to worry about re-bagging them etc like I’ve seen done by others before.
If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.
How do you make Rainbow Seeds Skittles Gifts?
Step 1: Gather your supplies.
You will need:
- Skittles (regular size bags you can get at the checkout of most grocery stores)
- Cardstock Paper
- Free Printable Rainbow Seeds Labels
- Stapler
- Scissors
Step 2: Print and cut the Rainbow Seeds labels.
When you print the Rainbow Seeds Skittles labels, they will look like this. They print four labels to a page and are designed to fit perfectly on the top of a bag of Skittles.
I ALWAYS print these types of things on cardstock paper, because it’s sturdier and will hold up better. You can use regular paper, it’s just not going to look as nice, or hold up as well.
Step 3: Attach the Rainbow Seeds labels.
After you cut the labels out, fold them in half.
A trick to these is to make sure and press the Skittles down so you don’t staple the labels into the Skittles themselves. They leave plenty of space in the Skittles bags, so this is simple.
Center the bags on the Rainbow Seeds Skittles labels and staple them on. I just stapled each side of the label onto the Skittles package.
Pro Tip: Make sure when you staple, you actually get the Skittles package in the staple.
When you finish your Rainbow Seeds Skittles, they should look like this! They turn out super cute and are literally the easiest and most simple things to put together.
My kids love little gifts like these, and I can’t wait to give them these Rainbow Seeds Skittles Gift on St. Patrick’s Day!
