St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun holiday! I always like to give my kids a little treat for this green-filled holiday, and they LOVE chocolate coins. This little You Got Lucky treat is so simple to put together, and makes them feel special when I give it to them!

Below are the details and tips on how to put them together and printing, but if you’re just here for the free printable label, you can click HERE.

How do you make a You Got Lucky Chocolate Coin Treat?

Step 1: Gather your supplies.

You will need:

  • Chocolate Coins
  • Free You Got Lucky Printable Label
  • Cardstock Paper
  • 3″ x 4″ Bags
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

Step 2: Print and cut the printable You Got Lucky Treat labels.

When you print the You Got Lucky Chocolate Coin Treat labels, they will look like this. They print four to a page on a regular 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper.

Pro Tip: Print these on cardstock paper for the best results.

Use sharp scissors and cut the labels out.

Step 3: Attach the labels to the bags.

These labels are designs specifically to fit on 3″ x 4″ bags. You can get them cheap on Amazon like I did, or you can also buy them in the jewelry craft section at Walmart, or even at Hobby Lobby.

Fold the label in half, and then center it on the label before you staple, like shown.

Staple each side of the label to the bag to finish it up! That’s all there is to it, so they’re really very fast. You can find chocolate coins at Hobby Lobby up front in their check-out section (one bag of them fits perfectly in these little bags) or you can buy them in bulk on Amazon HERE.
