My date night ideas are usually dinner and a movie, dinner and a movie, dinner and a movie…and that can get old really quickly. I love a good dinner and a movie, but if you’re stuck in a dating rut and need some fun date night ideas, then this list should give you some inspiration!

It can be tough to think of fun things to do on a date night, but I’ve come up with 100 Date Night Ideas for you and your significant other! Surely out of these good ideas for date night you can find something fun to do together – and if you can’t, your wheels will be turning!
HOW DO YOU PLAN A HOME DATE NIGHT?

WHAT DO COUPLES DO ON A NIGHT OUT?
Well, that all depends on your budget, your interests, and how long you’ve been together! If you’re a new couple, you might want to do something less romantic, and more fun to give the relationship time to grow. If so, see my big list of First Date Ideas here.
If you’ve been together a long time, or are married, you may want to spice it up a bit. The important thing is to have fun as a couple on a night out. Pick something (or a couple of somethings) from the list of date night ideas below and enjoy your time together!

1. Go on a picnic.
2. Take a walk.
3. Sing karaoke.
4. Go eat at a restaurant you’ve never eaten at before.
5. Go to a coffee shop.
We love this one! This is where my husband and I spent a lot of time together when we were dating! Definitely at the top of the list of Date Night Ideas for us!
6. Play board games.

7. Go see a movie.
Flip a coin to decide who picks if you have differing opinions! Barbie or Oppenheimer?
8. Go to an arcade.

Sometimes driving, and listening to a podcast or favorite album can be such a nice, peaceful time together!

You can learn a lot about someone by the way they serve others. You can find some awesome, creative ideas and places to volunteer on this list.

My husband and I re-did these barstools together and really enjoyed the process! So easy and they turned out beautifully and a fun date night idea!
31. Go to a concert.
There are SO many options and I think we can all sigh a big sigh of relief that live music is back! Don’t wait for a big show (I know T-Swift is tempting!) to use this date idea, go to a local show or even music in the park!
32. Play pickleball.
Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports right now, and for good reason! Check to see if there’s a court near you!
33. Go swimming.

These chocolate chip cookies are ALWAYS a win in our house!
66. Go to a water park.
There are lots of indoor water parks if the weather isn’t right for an outdoor water park.

Find a local pop-up vendor market! The vibe of these is normally inviting and friendly!
69. Take a foreign language class.

Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries…all the berries. Then you can bake with each other after – it’s a cute date night idea!

My husband and I LOVE Farmer’s Markets. It’s not just veggies and fruits. You can typically find baked goods, crafts, and sometimes even entertainment. Our favorite Farmer’s Market is the original Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles. My husband and I spent a whole day in LA and it was our favorite activity! See everything we did HERE.

These events can be found all over the country and are amazing!

Doesn’t have to be girly, this can be fun! Going through old photos is half the enjoyment.

Basically you have $10 to buy your date’s outfit at a thrift store. Has to be the right size and gender appropriate. The rule is you can’t tell other people what you’re doing on your date. Go out to dinner and whatever else dressed in the thrifted outfit all night. It’s a blast!

100. Get matching tattoos.
Last on the list of 100 Date Night Ideas is getting couple’s tattoos. They don’t have to be big forearm pieces like the ones in the picture, BUT a cute tattoo that’s special to both of you is such a fun date night!
