These cute and simple DIY Chalkboard Easter Basket Tags take just a couple of minutes to make, but personalize your Easter baskets in no time!

It’s always neat to personalize kids’ stuff. Reality is, we personalize it because if we don’t, there’s a fight.
The pleasant time of Easter morning can be ruined quickly, if Easter baskets get switched!
Keep that from happening with a cute chalkboard Easter basket tag! They’re super easy to make, and can be attached to any kind of Easter Basket!
You will need:
Black Chalkboard Paint
Construction Paper or Cardstock
Twine or Ribbon
Hole Punch
Paintbrush
Egg or Easter themed Cookie Cutter
Begin by tracing your cookie cutter on the piece on construction paper. Cut out the shape.
Flip the shape over, and begin to paint the side you didn’t trace on. Leave a small border unpainted around the outside of the tag, so the bright colors show.
Paint a thick enough coat, so you won’t need to paint a second coat. Your page edges will begin to curl, and that’s okay, because we will flatten them later. Allow it to dry thoroughly before moving on to the next step.
Once it’s completely dry, place it between two heavy books, or somewhere it can flatten completely. I stuck mine between two board games in the game closet, and that worked just fine.
Once it’s flat, use the hole punch to punch a hole in the top middle of the shape.
Write the name or message on the Easter bag before attaching it. Once you have your name or message written in chalk, or chalkboard marker, cut a small piece of string and tie it to the basket!
