Oreos are amazing. I think we can all agree on this fact. So it’s safe to say that Oreos would make a great gift for just about anyone. But, giving a package of Oreos to someone for Christmas can seem un-inspired and not very personal. So instead you can make these DIY Elf Leg Oreos!
The best thing about these is that I’ve done most of the work for you by making the printables and giving them to you for free (get them below). All that’s left for you is to keep yourself from eating all the Oreos before you give them away! Let’s get making!
How do you make Elf Leg Oreos?
You will need:
Holiday Oreos (with the red filling)
Clear Treat Bags
Free Tag and Elf Foot Printables (I printed mine on cardstock)
Scissors
Hole Punch
Christmas Ribbon
Double-Sided Tape
Thanks to the printables in this project, there’s really few very directions for me to give you to make these DIY Elf Leg Oreos. Each package of Holiday Oreos will make 3 of these Elf Leg Oreos.
Making the Elf Leg Oreos
Place one sleeve of the Holiday Oreos into one of the clear treat bags and use the twist tie that came with it to seal the bag at the top.
Print the elf foot and gift tags on cardstock. If you use regular paper, it won’t really work.
Cut out the elf foot and the gift tag. Secure the elf foot around the bottom of the Oreos using double-sided tape or a double sided adhesive roller (find them in the tape section or on Amazon using the link I used).
Use a hole-punch to punch a hole in the red circle on the gift tag. Tie some cute Christmas curling ribbon around the top of the leg, and run one of the ribbon strands through the hole on the gift tag, and that’s all there is to it!
