Easter Egg Chicks | No-Sew Pattern With Free Printable Template

No-Sew Easter Egg Chicks are such a fun little craft you can make for or with your kids this Easter! The printable template makes these super simple, and they’re the perfect size for little hands. My daughters love these, and have had a blast making them this year!
Each one will be unique, so no two Easter Egg Chicks are the same! Make them in or out of their egg shell. I love no-sew projects with kids, and feel like felt is the best fabric to use since it holds up so well. Scroll down to see how I made them and to get the free printable template to make them super simple.

You will need:
Free Printable Template
Sticker Paper (this makes using the template SUPER easy)
Yellow Felt
Orange Felt
Polyfil
Yellow Feather
Black T-Shirt Paint
Pink Marker
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
The reason I said to print the template on sticker paper, is because it makes is SO simple if you do that! I just cut the stickers out, and then stick them to the felt, and cut the shapes out of the felt that way. Super simple.

After you get the shape cut out, you’re going to clue them together. Leave a space open at the top that you don’t glue, so you can stuff it.
Stuff the inside of your Easter Egg Chicks with Polyfil. Don’t overfill or it won’t be soft and squishy. Then, cut the top off a yellow feather for the top of your Easter Egg Chicks.
Stick the feather inside the top of the Easter Egg Chicks before you glue the top part together. Once it’s stuffed and the feather is inside, glue the rest of it together at the top. Use black t-shirt paint to make cute little eyes, and cut a small orange triangle from felt (I just cut the corners off, it’s easiest) and glue it on the front. You can also use a pink permanent marker to give your chick rosy cheeks too.
When your Easter Egg Chicks are finished, they should look something like this! You could also use the printable template on white felt, and then cut out the bottom or top of a “cracked” egg to glue on top of your Easter Egg Chicks too. Experiment with different colors and patterns for more Easter fun! Get the free printable template HERE!
