In case you haven’t been to my site before, or much at all, you probably don’t know that I LOVE making creative gift ideas for people that don’t require a lot of effort.
Gifts are one of my favorite things in the world (to give and receive) and so holidays are so much fun to me because it’s an excuse to give gifts to people I love.
These Hugs and Kisses Valentines are the perfect classroom gift, or gift for your kids, or even for teachers!
I used the same little jars to make my Reese’s Pieces Valentines and my custom Puzzle Valentines too! You could even use these tags to attach to a GIANT homemade Hershey Kiss too!
If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.
How do you make Hugs and Kisses Valentines?
Step 1: Gather your supplies.
You will need:
Free Printable Hugs & Kisses Tags
Hershey’s Kisses (Get them cheaper in bulk HERE)
Hershey’s Hugs (Get them cheaper in bulk HERE)
Cute Small Jars (I found mine at the Target Dollar Spot, but they have adorable ones on Amazon HERE!)
Twine or Valentine Ribbon
Scissors
Cardstock
Hole Punch
Step 2: Print the tags.
When you print the tags for the Hugs and Kisses Valentines, they will look like this. They print six tags per page, so keep that in mind when you’re planning your DIY.
Pro Tip: I always print tags like these on cardstock paper, because regular paper just doesn’t hold up well.
Step 3: Fill your jars and attach the tags.
After you cut out your tags, use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top left corner of the tag. After you’ve filled your cute jars with candy, attach the tag with twine or Valentine ribbon to the lid of the jar.
I filled each of my jars with some Hershey’s Kisses and some Hershey’s Hugs to complete the Valentine pun that puts this whole gift together.
I found Valentine themed Hugs and Kisses at Target and Walmart (or on Amazon HERE), so they should be pretty easy to locate.
If you can’t find the ones with Valentine wrappers, regular Hershey’s Hugs and Kisses will be fine for this Hugs and Kisses Valentines too.
