Leftover Sprinkles Christmas Cupcakes
Have some random sprinkles leftover for Christmas? Make these Leftover Sprinkles Christmas Cupcakes!
Leftover Sprinkles Christmas Cupcakes
I have a sprinkles addiction. I’m in denial most of the time, but I have several bottles for every holiday and then just about every color you can think of. In a pinch, they make boring cupcakes and cookies festive and fun in no time and with minimal effort. These Leftover Sprinkles Christmas Cupcakes look like they take a lot of time and thought, but reality is they’re just some sprinkles from a ton of leftover bottles of sprinkles and they turned out so cute!

I even put the cupcakes in random leftover cupcake liners to make them all fun and mixed up! It gives these Leftover Sprinkles Christmas Cupcakes a Dr. Suess Whoville feel, and I just love them! They’re super easy and take very little effort which is also my favorite part.
You will need:
Random Christmas Sprinkles (use up those leftovers!)
Cupcake Liners
Cake Mix
White Frosting
Bake your cupcakes as directed in whatever fun cupcake liners you want to use. I had several random Christmas liners and just mixed it up when I made these. Allow your cupcakes to cool, and then frost each one liberally with the white frosting. You can make them big and swirly and fancy, or you can do what I did and just frost them like a regular human.

Use your leftover odds and ends sprinkles to decorate each cupcake differently. I had some holly and berries sprinkles that looked super cute. I also had several that just had red, or green, or silver on them, and just mixed those in. They don’t all have to be “special sprinkles” they just have to look pretty on the tray! You could also use Christmas M&Ms if you wanted to add in some more color you were missing.
