High School Graduation parties are so much fun to set up! You can fill them with personalized nostalgia!

It can get expensive to buy a party full of decor, so I always try to DIY some of my stuff to help me find a balance, both in the personal touch of the party and in my budget.

This banner is crazy easy to make. Some simple cutting, and attaching the 4×6 pictures and you’re on your way to a cute part of your party!

If you’re just here for the free printables, and don’t want to read the tips on printing and instructions on how to put these together below, then you can get those HERE.

You will need:

  • Free Printable High School Graduation Banner
  • 4×6 Pictures of the graduate from Kindergarten – 12th Grade
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Adhesive Roller
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Ribbon or Twine

Step 2: Cut out the banner.

Each sheet contains one banner pennant. Use a sharp pair of scissors to cut them out along the black outline.

Pro Tip: Print these on heavy cardstock paper for the best results. These are also designed in black and white to match most graduation themes.

Step 3: Attach the photos to the banner.

Next, you need to attach the photos to your DIY High School Graduation Banner.

The easiest way to attach your photos is to use a double sided adhesive roller. You can find them at Walmart, or Hobby Lobby and even here on Amazon.

I put adhesive on all four edges of the photos and then on the square where the photos go.

Pro Tip: Be sure to press your photos down on all edges to ensure it’s attached well.

Step 4: Punch holes and run string to hang your banner.

Use a hole punch to punch a hole in each side of the banner above the photos.

Use ribbon or twine to string the banner pieces on in order from Kindergarten to 12th grade.

I like to run the twine behind the banner as shown, but you can do whatever you prefer.

Display your DIY High School Graduation Banner behind your food table, on the front of the gifts table, or anywhere you want to add a bit of personal touch!
