How do you make this Tis the Season-ing gift?
Step 1: Gather your supplies.
You will need:
- Seasonings of choice
- Printable Tis the Seasoning Gift Tags
- Cardstock
- Paper Basket Filler
- Container (I used a small wooden crate from Walmart)
- Ribbon or Twine
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
Step 2: Print the Tis the Season-ing gift tags.
When you print the page of tags, this is what they will look like. They print six to a page, so keep that in mind if making multiples.
Always print gift tags like these on cardstock paper. It’s thicker and will make sure your tags hold up.
Cut out the number of tags you need to make your seasoning gift baskets and set them aside.
Step 3: Prep your container.
I found this cute mini wooden crate at Walmart near where they sell the vases for only $3. You can find one like it on Amazon here.
You could also use another container if you want, I just liked this one.
I found paper shred at the dollar store and used it as filler for my little wooden crate.
You could easily use different colors, I just liked the neutral of the brown.
Step 4: Punch a hole in your gift tags.
Use a hole punch and punch a hole in your Tis the Season-ing gift tags.
Step 5: Attach the tags to the seasoning gift basket.
Use twine or ribbon to attach the tag to the gift basket. I used natural raffia, but anything will work fine.
Step 6: Add the seasonings.
Once the tag is attached, you can add in the seasonings to your gift basket to complete it!
If you want to secure all your items from moving, you could also put the basket in a shrink wrap bag and seal it.
Choose seasonings to match the person your gifting this to! Walmart had an awesome selection of different types, and I’ll show you a few here so you can see what different ones look like.

The Tasty brand seasonings were bright and colorful!
I loved how these boxed seasonings worked together to give it a classic look.
You could also go with McCormick seasonings for reliable blends you know your gift recipient will love!
Whatever seasonings you choose, or whether you make your own to include in your gift basket, I’m sure it’s a gift that will be loved this holiday season!
