My husband loves Buffalo Wild Wings. He also loves to cook his own wings at home, so I decided to make a Father’s Day gift he would really love this year. This Wings for a King gift basket is super easy to put together, even if you’re not crafty, but is much more personal than buying something off the shelf at Walmart.

How to Make a Wings for a King Gift Basket

You will need:

Medium sized galvanized bucket (or other container of choice)
Block of floral foam
Paper shred (I found mine at the dollar store)
Three bottles of Buffalo Wild Wings sauce (or your favorite wing sauce brand)
Buffalo Wild Wings Gift Card (or your favorite wings restaurant)
Free printable Wings for a King sign
Hot glue gun

Step 1: Assemble the basket.

Assembling this gift basket is so super easy. All I did was find a bucket that would hold the three bottles of sauce easily. I placed a small floral foam block in the bottom of the bucket to help fill it up. Then I added the paper shred on top of it.

Stick the three sauces (I just bought the three pack of BWW sauces they sell at Walmart in the dressings and sauces aisle) in the back, and press the gift card in the front. Make sure they’re all pressed into the paper shred well so it doesn’t fall out easily.

Step 2: Prepare your bucket.

The bucket I got had a cute chalkboard section on the front. I found it at Walmart in the floral section for $3. My writing, however, is awful, and it wouldn’t have been cute at all had I written the sign. I decided to just design a sign I could print instead and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Step 3: Print the sign.

You can print the signs for free HERE. They will work best if you print them on cardstock, instead of just regular paper. I designed them so that they would print two signs to a page. I did that so you have a backup in case you make a mistake, or if you want to make more than one Wings for a King gift basket. If you want to let the kids help, this is a great step to let them handle. Let the kids cut the sign out to make a cute Father’s Day gift.

Step 4: Attach the Wings for a King sign.

I cute out the sign and used hot glue to attach it to the front of the bucket. I designed the sign to completely cover the chalkboard section on the front of the bucket. If you use a different container, the sign prints at 4″ wide and 5″ tall.

Now your Wings for a King gift basket is ready to give to Dad on Father’s Day! This is a great way to give them a gift they can use and enjoy now (the sauce), and a gift they can enjoy later (the gift card). You will feel good knowing you made this gift basket yourself, without having to spend a ton of time making a difficult project!
