Preschool Winter Activity Book | Free Printable Activity Book
Cold days can make it difficult to entertain little ones. Preschoolers have so much energy and constantly need some kind of structured entertainment so they don’t end up in trouble. If your preschoolers are anything like mine, they love to color and learn. This Preschool Winter Activity Book is great for cold day entertainment that will help them learn and grow in a fun way too!
This Preschool Winter Activity Book is a mix of hands on crafts and coloring worksheets so your little one doesn’t get bored halfway through. Remember that their attention spans are still very short, so don’t get frustrated if they can’t sit for longer than a single page at a time. As usual with all my printable content on this site, I’m giving it to you for free. Click HERE to print!

My preschooler is only 2 years old, so ignore the fact that she’s done some of it incorrectly or colored poorly. She had a blast doing this and it made for some great conversations. I know we could do this again in a few months, or next year and it would be awesome to see the growth.
You can’t have a Preschool Winter Activity Book without one coloring page. My daughter LOVES coloring, so I try to encourage it while she enjoys it now. It’s cute to see their creativity while they color. She insisted this was going to be a rainbow snowman.
This activity was one of my favorites. Learning letter association with hands on activities like these is essential for early education. The cotton balls are also a great sensory activity and placing them also helps with fine motor development.
This is a prime example of her getting something wrong because I wasn’t clear enough in my instructions – haha! I was having to be fast with the camera to get clear images of each one of these sheets, and said to her, “Ok, now you can circle the next one.” I meant for her to go to the next line, the snowflakes, but she circled the next snowman. You will do a better job with your preschooler I’m sure.
This one is great for preschoolers because each snowflake is different and unique. Let them design their own snowflake however they see fit. My preschooler insisted hers was going to be pink, like everything else she did, because that was her favorite color.
Your preschooler might want to draw creepy little bug legs on their snowman like mine did, and that’s okay! Let them draw their own features on their snowman in any color or style they want. Feel free to talk about body parts as they draw them, or clothing items (like scarves, hats, and mittens) to help them learn in those areas too.
Lastly in the Preschool Winter Activity Book, we have a matching game! My little one had so much fun matching the snowmen together. We talked about the differences in their hats, what they were doing, and the direction they were facing when doing this activity.
However you use this activity, whether in your homeschool lessons, as a moment of fun and learning for your little one, or in a preschool classroom, I’m sure your little one will love it! I know my little girl had a blast with this Preschool Winter Activity Book, and I hope your preschooler does too. Click HERE to print it yourself!
