Printable Lunchbox Notes for Kids
Whether you send your children to public or private school, or keep them at home for their education, having a special note from your loved ones is a fun thing to do!
These little lunchbox notes are also a wonderful way to help children feel seen and specifically cared about.
When my son was very little I packed him a “school lunch” every day… even though we homeschool! He loved getting to open up his lunchbox to discover what special things awaited him that day.
As part of the fun I often packed a little note for him to enjoy. You can do this by writing on a napkin, or a post-it, but to really kick things up a notch, these adorable printable lunchbox notes really hit the spot!
1. Gather Your Supplies
You will need:
- A color printer
- Cardstock
- Scissors
I like to print these on cardstock, but if you don’t have any on hand, that’s no problem! Just print on regular paper!
2. Download the Printable Lunchbox Notes

3. Print and Cut
Next, you’ll need to print out your notes. I like to print a few pages so I don’t have to do it again for a few weeks! Since each page includes 8 designs, you can print 3 pages and have enough for a whole month!
When you cut them, notice that I’ve included a dotted line to cut alone so that each finished card has a nice even border all the way around it (and it’s easier to cut with a guide)!
4. Pack it Up!
Pick your favorite one and add it on top of your child’s lunch! Then sit back and know that your child will feel so special at lunchtime!
